Whenever I have been asked over the years which is my favorite season, Winter is always the answer.
And I normally add a little caveat…. The perfect combo is that downtown Oslo is free from snow and ice, but the woods are filled with deep snow.
As you can imagine this combination does not come around very often…. But for a few weeks each Winter it normally falls into place.
And today is the start of that period.
After what has felt like driving an off-road safari for the last two months it is lovely to see the tarmac of the roads again. It also enables us to pick up and drop off much more efficiently and therefore get more time adventuring.
With crisp and clear blue skies today the snow was glittering in all its glory up in the woods. It was GORGEOUS!
What a start to another week of adventures!
