Family Friday

With the recent melting of the snow and ice my parents decided that it was finally safe for them to come to Oslo and see the grandkids post winter.

On the last visit at the end of October we had first snow.

A little over 6 months later and we have glorious sunshine.

I won’t embarrass my mother by telling you her age but all I will say is that it would be perfectly reasonable for her to put up her feet and relax saving energy for the grandkids.

But that is not how we do things in my family and my mother is in superb fitness for her age.

As you would well imagine my parents love dogs and they have been a huge part of our family.

Therefore one of my mother’s highlights of every trip over to Oslo is to join me on a walk.

This time that walk was Friday afternoon and we had amazing fun.

My mother met some of her doggy friends whom she has walked with previously, and also got to say hello to some new faces.

Over the years and after many visits my parents have fully understood why their only child moved to Norway and based himself in the fantastic nature.

Happy weekend!
