One of those rare days you awake and struggle to remember which day of the week it is.
With yesterday being a public holiday I awoke to believe it was Monday again. But remembering it was a Friday I knew it was the chance to finish the walking (short) week with some cracking adventures.
This morning I hiked the remnants of Winter on the ski slopes to get an amazing view from the top….. Before jogging back down the hill with dogs bounding happily alongside me.
With a lot of dogs away today, due to many of you taking the day off and therefore getting a four-day weekend, it was an opportunity for one walker to come join my afternoon group.
It gave us the chance to catch up and for her to be introduced to some new doggy friends.
We explored an area of Grefsenkollen that she didn’t yet know, and it gave me the possibility to become a tour guide. I was pointing out the hidden clearings where we could get amazing views, the hidden valleys and paths tucked away.
A delightful end to the week. Happy weekend!
