Did you feel it coming today?
Around lunchtime the air became super heavy and charged. The wind picked up and as the dark clouds rolled in it went from daylight to dusk within seconds.
From then on it was never a case of if, but when.
I was approaching my second walk when the rain started to fall. These were not small droplets but thunderous crashes onto the van.
Then the sky started to light up…. Lightning! ⚡
The weather gods were singing their chorus at full volume. It was quite something to behold.
A couple of minutes later and sensing the lightning had dissipated, the dogs sprang from the van energetic and ready to play.
Rain, heavy or not, never stops adventures, it is part of it.
