Another great day with a distinct Summer vibe.
We keep being warned that the rain will come but instead we are getting this lovely tropical humidity.
The aircon system has gone in the front of my van and so it is back to the old school “roll down the windows” approach.
As soon as the walk is over I change out of my hiking trousers and down to some running shorts. And still it is hot and humid.
It is not every day that you compare Oslo to Tahiti….. And yet as I drove down the fjord and up into the hills today, with Jack Johnson keeping me company with his music, it reminded me of driving around Tahiti way back in 2004.
If I can be honest the surf was much better that week than it was today in the Oslofjord.
But it does go to show that you do not need to travel halfway around the world to find paradise when it is already on our doorstep.
