Yesterday afternoon and evening I had the immense pleasure to invite all of the team to come over and celebrate what has been a fantastic 2024.
We leave no person behind, and we even had a former Walker join and celebrate with us.
We mostly work, walk and adventure independently, so the opportunity to all sit down around the dining table, put on a roaring fire and share some pizzas was amazing.
After everyone except the former Walker had left, he said to me “Wow, you’ve really got such a fantastic and adventurous team at the moment.”
I literally couldn’t have put it better myself.
As we sat around and shared stories of dogs, adventures, areas to explore and a lot of laughter…. my living room suddenly felt like we were in a mountain hut with a group of explorers hanging out.
I am unbelievably fortunate to get to work with these individuals. The commitment not only to your dogs, but to adventure, is second to none.
I trust each and every one of them with your dogs and for them to provide an absolutely first class service.
If I felt that I had to check up on anyone it would impact my own ability to perform and adventure.
We now head into the final 2 weeks of walks before a well-deserved Christmas holiday. We are not robots and the stretch from August to Christmas without a single public holiday is long. And yet not one person complained of being tired or needing any form of motivation to wake up early on a Monday morning and explore with your pups.
We are all so unbelievably grateful that we get this opportunity and lifestyle.
A final note to say a big, big thank you to the customers, who shall remain anonymous, who having found out that we were going to have our Christmas party, sent me over a very generous amount of money to add to the party budget. They mentioned that they wanted to thank the entire team and not just those who walk their dog. We absolutely raised a glass in your honour.
On another note…. What a day we have just had in the woods. Dreamland conditions, so check out the fun below 👇🏼
