We might well argue that actually what we do is the Life of Walk as opposed to the Walk of Life.
The hit from the mid 80s by British band Dire Straits rings true.
Or maybe a subtle adaptation of the classic hit by Dolly Parton…. “Walking 9 to 5, what a way to make a living”
The Proclaimers once asserted that they “would walk 500 miles, and I would walk 500 more”….. Why stop after 1000 miles? would be my question to them.
After 1000 miles you surely could think of no better idea than to continue exploring and adventuring… And you get dogs to accompany you and share your experiences.
We are privileged to do what we do. Some people ask if we prefer the sun, rain, snow or wind?….. Variety is the answer. Whether exploring new spots and trails, discovering lakes, streams and hidden valleys in all types of weather, it is the fun of the challenge which drives us on.
So as another Walking Week kicks off we are ready to gå gå gå!
