If the Weather App is to be trusted, it looks like we are in for a mini-storm tonight and tomorrow!
Heavy rains, flooding and high winds….. The perfect combo to head out in your waterproofs for a good dog adventure.
My tip, don’t have headphones in, you won’t hear the cracking of the falling branches!
Whilst the temptation is to find a good film, light a fire and stay inside….. You can always do that post dog adventure anyways.
And so, as Lawrence Oates said on his Polar Adventure with Robert Falcon Scott, “I am just going outside, and may be some time”
Whilst on the theme of Scott, I came across this rather marvellous quote, attributed to him, “it is the work that matters, not the applause that follows”
