Breathe

Not actually a post about Stress Relief, Breathwork or the Essence of Life……. apologies to my “Yogi followers”.. I just wanted to share a little moment from my night walk yesterday and my early morning escapade today.

Heading out into the darkness of the Woods post-dusk and pre-dawn, I had my trusty head torch affixed atop my hat to illuminate the way.

Caught spiralling and twirling in the beam of the head torch was the vapour from my breath.

On both walks I paused in Awe and Wonder to examine the vapour droplets more carefully. Watching their dances and patterns as they travelled 3 to 5 metres before seemingly disappearing off into the darkness of the atmosphere.

The show is mesmeric, akin to staring into a fire at the flames. It grounds you and brings you into the Present and the rhythms of Life.

We all too often, in our hurried states, overlook the raw, simple pleasures of Nature. The Awe is everywhere, waiting to be experienced, whenever you dedicate the time to it.
