Absence makes the heart grow fonder, as we say in the UK.
Ever since it returned less than a week ago, there has been a constant reminder of how much I love Snow.
It is not so surprising that this is the case, given that for the last 15 years I have lived only in locations where I am able to ski in winter.
The snow of the last week has also come with bitterly cold temperatures thanks to some pretty strong winds.
This afternoon however the winds died down and snow fell, despite the sun shining through from a distance.
It is one of the most wondrous backdrops to a dog adventure to be able to explore in a sunny, snowy woodland
It is reminiscent of an album cover or two from late 90s Euphoric Trance music albums….. My love for the snowy woods was there long before this era, yet the music is very fitting to the scenery.
The forecast as of now is predicting 4-5cm more snow in the coming days, laying the white foundations for a ski-filled weekend potentially.
