Onwards and Upwards

On this gorgeous Monday morning at around 7:10 a.m. I finally managed to Summit my virtual Everest alongside my ever present climbing partner, Minttu.

If you have not read my dog blog from earlier this month, named “April Everest Challenge” then please feel free to go and take a quick look.

With 4 Days remaining in the Challenge, I summited Everest early.

Not since University coursework have I waited until the last minute with which to finish off challenges.

Quite fittingly I attained my virtual peak at the top of a local hillock, which I know unbelievably well and which I named “the Old man and his Dog” (this is also a previous blog if you want to try and find it).

We might not have been literally 8,849 metres above sea level, atop the highest mountain in the World, but the view was still stunning.

I congratulated my dog on her somewhat Herculean effort so far this month.

However, unlike being stood on top of the World, we were able to push onwards and upwards.

You see, I don’t just set a challenge and stop once I have achieved the desired goal. There are 4 walking days left and the month is not complete.

So let’s see how far we can push this….. Full stats will be released at the end of the month. Check back
