A whole lot of shaking

Whilst the title of today’s blog might sound like a 1960s rock and roll song, it actually refers to your dogs this afternoon in Oslomarka.

We knew that the rains were going to come, and in all honesty we were pretty grateful that we had a relatively dry morning.

This afternoon came the mini deluge and it was actually quite fun and refreshing. Of the dogs in my afternoon Adventure, not one of them seemed unmotivated by the heavy rain.

The tactic it would seem is to shake off the rain in your fur about every 30 seconds. This made for a choir of jangling leads and collars each time the rain was expelled. A wet doggy dance of sorts.

It goes to show that your dogs understand the saying “it isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass, but learning to dance in the rain”
