I just want to put out a practical blog today with regards to tomorrow, Wednesday 9th September.
As you will all be aware it is the funeral of the late King Harald V in Oslo.
I think it is fair to say that there has never been a time previously where so much of the city has been shut down for the day.
Due to this and the timing of the funeral we have moved certain dogs and those owners have already been notified.
Today I personally spoke with, and double checked, with both the Police and Embassy Security that the back roads around Majorstuen and Frogner would remain open, even if congested with diversions and people walking to the funeral.
It was confirmed to me by both sources that this was still the case.
We are therefore hoping it will be business as usual, even if we are slightly delayed.
Were anything to change, or any roads to suddenly be blocked, we will of course notify all owners immediately.
Wishing you and your dogs a wonderful evening
