From my Roots to my Routes

Happy Monday one and all.

I hope that you are all enjoying høstferie, whether in Oslo or at your cabins.

I escaped for a long weekend in London with my daughter, returning last night to find Autumn has arrived.

A gorgeous weekend of showing off my roots to my daughter. Where daddy grew up, still the same house and area, the huge park, just a literal stone’s throw away.

We rode a double decker bus (upstairs of course), we saw deer, swans, herons and countless birds, we adventured and explored the local area. It made for one very happy, and slightly tired, little girl.

Fast forward 12 hours from our flight landing and I was swapping my roots to my routes……. Oslomarka routes.

With the start of høstferie, even more people seem to have left the city. Today, I saw no one…. Apart from watching a load of dogs happily enjoying Nature of course.

With Oslo set to empty further over the coming days, it looks like we will be adventuring without disturbance the rest of the week.
