If you missed yesterday’s dog blog with part one then maybe go and take a quick read.
This morning I had assembled an elite dog unit to help me search for my missing prescription glasses which I lost yesterday on my afternoon Dog Adventure.
The mission was clear and simple: retrace our steps and locate and extract the glasses returning them to the relative safety of their owner.
The air was crisp and the sun was shining with good light levels even in the darkest parts of the wood. The weather gods had smiled kindly upon us.
Off we went whilst throwing sticks and enjoying ourselves as I scanned the floor around where we walked.
In all honesty the mission would mainly be focused on three or four areas where I remembered excessive fun and games, and the much higher probability of the glasses having come dislodged from my cap.
I was not wrong and the glasses were found intact at the second of such locations.
It appears that they had landed in some soft moss and they were absolutely no signs of damage.

First part of the Mission complete and now all that remained was to fully immerse ourselves into the glorious sunny woods and go explore.
The main lesson to pass on from the mission is that “where there is a well there is a way”.
Just to see if any of you read all the way to the end….. It was very pleasant start to my 44th birthday today.
Happy weekend!
