I have had a bittersweet day.
On the one hand I’ve had the most wonderful day of adventuring with an old friend and cherished colleague of the last eight years. 2 amazing walks with happy bouncing dogs.
On the flip side today was Christina’s last day of dog walking before she heads off for a sabbatical year or more in Japan.
Over these last 8 years we have had so much fun and it has been a joy to work and walk together.
It is no exaggeration to say that I consider Christina like a cool little sister which I never had.
And I’m super proud that she is now off to follow her dream of living in Japan and experiencing the amazing culture.
She is going to miss the dogs and the dogs will miss her.
As the expression goes in French this is not adieu, but au-revoir.
Thank you Christina and have safe, amazing travels
