I would like to share with you what I witnessed on Saturday evening.
I was out for my evening walk with Minttu in the woods just behind where we live.
Due to putting kids to bed we have developed a lovely little 15 minute loop.
It had been a glorious sunny day in Oslo. As we approached the top of the ridge, to an area where I like to pause and listen to the birds singing, I saw the most wonderful heart warming sight.
On top of the ridge and facing away from us and towards the vast woodlands there was an elderly gentleman with his old dog.
They were sat perfectly side by side enjoying the view and a pure moment together.
The man had his arm around his dog.
My heart melted at seeing such a pure connection between dog and owner clearly cultivated over many years.
They were enjoying the moment so much that they did not notice us approaching from behind, so I changed our path so as not to disturb them.
