Recharging the batteries

We hope that you have all had the most wonderful extra long weekend. The combination of Norwegian national day and then Pinse yesterday allowed for a rare four-day weekend.

You might well have read in Thursday’s dog blog that I took the opportunity to head to the cabin with my family.

We could not have wished for better weather over the four days. Outside of sleeping hours we were pretty much always outside whether exploring, running, stand up paddle boarding on the lake or playing in some of the streams nearby.

It was the most fantastic chance to get away from the distractions of daily life. A return to nature of sorts.

You might think that all of this activity combined with the hot weather would be tiring. And yet it is exactly this type of lifestyle that gives you energy.

It was so lovely to be back out exploring and adventuring in the woods today with some great friends. Your doggies were super motivated to be meeting up with their mates once again.

It is hot and dry out on the adventures. We are finding clean water sources for your dogs to cool off in the heat.

Never fear though as it currently looks like we should get some much needed rain towards the end of this week.
