Do not worry this is not another blog about the virtues of suncream.
However I will say that when I dropped my kids off at kindergarten and applied suncream to them, that I also slapped on a good deal of factor 50 on my face, neck and arms as today was going to be scorchio!
The burning that I want to talk about today relates to something I observed yesterday afternoon.
After my walks yesterday I had the immense privilege of catching up with an old customer and friend.
I had walked his dog for eight years, right up until his passing. You will find my obituary to my great friend Fridtjof under a blog named the Colonel.
I caught up with his owner downtown and we grabbed a coffee. We had a lot to catch up on. Over 8 years we had not only been friends but they had welcomed me into their expanding family.
After about 15 minutes he asked how the business was doing.
I started replying and suddenly found a burning passion to try and share all of my adventures, all of my highs and lows and all of what the dogs mean to me.
As I carried on with my monologue at my poor friend, I felt an immense energy within me to just try and encapsulate what we do, how we do it and why we do it.
This was not marketing or sales, this was just pure burning passion finding an outlet.
I would like to add that I feel unbelievably privileged to get the opportunity to adventure with so many great dogs and to have been allowed to discover and develop my burning passion.
Thank you one and all
