Old faces

Happy Thursday and welcome to our penultimate blog before the Summer break.

With the sun shining and the temperatures soaring we had a little surprise for two of our groups today.

One of our former Walkers who moved on to new adventures about five months ago was back to see her old furry friends.

I was contacted by Veronica about two weeks ago already, asking if she could take out some of her old gangs today.

Whilst she has moved on to new projects, her new job allows her to occasionally have an extra day off midweek and she could think of absolutely nothing she would rather do than catch up with her doggy friends who she knew for many years.

I personally know how much those doggies loved and love Veronica. Even without being there, I can picture the extreme joy and excitement when she came to pick them up today. Even the thought of it warms my heart.

And what about Veronica? How did she feel about the walks and catching up with her old friends?

When I met V post walks she was beaming with joy and said she had loved her adventures and catching up with her friends.
