Wilma: the Eternal Puppy

This is the first blog in a new series which will showcase some of our fantastic pups.

The aim is both to celebrate these gorgeous dogs and also to allow you all to know your own dog’s friends better…. Hopefully it will enhance your happiness when reading the dog blog.

And so I chose to start with the Eternal Puppy, Wilma. We have had the immense pleasure of adventuring weekly with Wilma for over nine years.

I’ve lost count long ago of the amount of times that I have been stopped and asked by passers-by if they could say hello to the gorgeous puppy.

The look of shock and disbelief on people’s faces when you inform them that Wilma is 10 years old is priceless.

I think it is fair to say that if you could find the secret formula to her youthful looks and sell it to humans you would be an overnight billionaire.

Apart from looking like a puppy, Wilma also absolutely acts like a puppy. She has boundless energy, optimism and love to share with everyone whether dog or human.
