It is the middle of August and that means it is variable weather.
The weather forecasters really are guessing when the weather is so changeable.
Last night and this morning the rain finally arrived. It was refreshingly lovely. I was out super early with my own dog and a double coffee in a thermos mug, walking through a mist of rain.
I have to say it was a beautiful start to the day.
By the time we had picked up our first group of adventurers it had stopped raining. But the woods were fresh and alive.
Dew, puddles and flowing streams greeted us for our adventures. So did the mosquitoes 🦟
In sticking with the changeable weather it looks like tomorrow might be bright sunshine and blue skies once again.
Whatever the weather, we will have great fun.
