Unlimited Energy

You will have read the title and assumed I was referring to the dogs. And yes they did have an abundance of energy to burn off today.

But the title refers to how I felt today. Within seconds of waking up today I felt like today would just be fantastic for reasons that are hard to put into words.

Of course the weather certainly helps as does the fact that I slept well. But there was an overriding feeling that nothing would stop me today.

You could use many different terms… In the Zone, Bulletproof, Teflon, Flow…..

Those small daily annoyances just bounced off.

Even when one of our long serving doggies decided to run away and go solo explore on her walk, I was cool as a cucumber, assuming mission control and communicating with all the necessary parties.

The nameless dog was found by a passing cyclist, enjoying a little refreshing swim. Happy dog and happy cyclist who was rewarded for his kind actions by me offering to buy him a few cold beers as a thank you.

2 absolutely amazing Adventures later and I am still buzzing. I was surrounded by happy, exhausted dogs all day and yet their happiness seems to have only fueled my unlimited energy.

Now I am off to try and exhaust my kids on a trampoline.
