Yesterday afternoon I found myself picking up my two kids from kindergarten.
It was glorious weather and as you can imagine all of the children were playing happily outside.
As pretty much always Daddy had turned up at just the wrong moment as all of the children were about to get some freshly cut fruit.
I was in no rush and therefore started chatting to one of the teachers whom I know well.
He admitted to me that he was a little tired having been out in the heat all afternoon. He explained that he really couldn’t be bothered shouting and getting all the children together to eat the fruit.
“you need one of these” I said, showing him my Sheepdog whistle.
He was very intrigued and asked me to show him how it worked.
Well it would seem that getting the attention of a group of dogs and a group of kindergarten children is pretty much the same.
They all immediately stopped and turned around at which point the teacher was able to ask them to come and sit together.
Long story short, I sent the link to the aforementioned teacher, who informed me this morning that he has ordered a whistle to control his flock!
