Autumn is late. This is probably due to the very long and harsh Winter we experienced.
The yellows, browns and oranges have not really yet appeared. There is still a lot of green around.
As we get to viewpoints high up in the woods, whether looking out over the expanse of Oslomarka or back over the city, we are met with the Sea of Green.
On gorgeous days like today it is offset with the radiant blue of the sky and the deep darker blue of the Oslofjord.
We must not take for granted the huge privilege of being surrounded by quite so much magnificent nature. Oslo simply must be one of the World’s greenest cities (in terms of flora and fauna).
