Zoë

This afternoon I had the most wonderful last walk with my great friend Zoë.

Tomorrow Zoë and her family move out to Asker.

The sadness of losing my beautiful Zoë from my adventures is offset by the fact that I know the new family set up will be much better for them all.

Zoë will be moving into a house with a garden and much closer to fantastic nature.

During the time I have walked Zoë I have been fortunate to witness her family growing and I have got to know the extended family on both her parents’ sides.

The funny and ironic thing is that both of Zoe’s parents lived out in the French Alps at the same time that I was there but just in a neighbouring resort, Méribel. As I used to work over there a few days a week we actually have some common connections and friends.

Zoe is an absolute Superstar and any of you who follow the blog will have seen her bouncing around happily for the past few years.

Zoe lives for adventure and fun, and I can’t stress enough how much of a pleasure it has been to have her join me on my adventures.

As soon as I knew of their housing move a few months ago I contacted the best dog walkers over where she will be living and asked if they might have room for her.

Although she will not be able to adventure with us, I still want her to get the best adventures possible.

All that is left to say is a massive thank you to Zoë, Thora, Mike and Maxime (and your amazing families). Your support, chats and kind, kind words have been unbelievably appreciated.
