The stuff adventures are made of

Wow, what a day!

We knew it would be a challenge, but that was something special.

The snow storm hit and wreaked havoc in Oslo. Buses, cars, vans, pickups….. They all got stuck at one point or another today as we battled the elements to ensure as many dogs as possible got to experience the snow.

It was absolutely gorgeous in the woods, it was just the wild west getting there.

A big big thank you to my Walkers and to my Customers.

Firstly to my fantastic Walkers who absolutely gave their all today. It was not easy, but these are the days you look back on and smile.

Then to my understanding customers and especially those who were able to switch their walks to another day, so as to make our travels safer and easier.

Out in the woods it was quite indescribable. In places I was sinking thigh deep into snow holes. Even the largest dogs were having to swim through the powder snow.

Down in the city and Oslo Kommune did a fantastic job of plowing the roads before the rain came.

Up in the hills however it was the opposite and the roads were left unplowed since last night as the thick snow fell all day. This led to comical scenes….. My truck pulled out 3 cars which were stuck and blocking the roads.

But my truck was powerless against the electric buses which once again failed both Oslo residents and the test of the weather.

Now to rest up and cross our fingers that the roads will be cleared when the storm ends later this evening.
