Early this morning and during the rush hour traffic it did seem that today would be a rerun of yesterday’s challenges.
Within 10 minutes of leaving home I had witnessed three broken down buses and a lorry blocking a road. There were lines of cars everywhere.
I am extremely happy to report that post rush hour the rest of our travels have gone exceedingly well.
A few areas and roads remain Wild West but generally Oslo is in much better shape than yesterday.
With the traffic moving smoothly, it allowed us to get properly deeper into the woods and find some absolute gems and deep powder.
The backdrop to our walks was set in idyllic conditions.
I will not lie it is heavy going when you are having to break trail in what was sometimes thigh deep powder snow.
The trick is to always keep to large dogs in front of you so as they can make the tracks whilst getting nice and tired.
The smaller dogs follow behind leaping from footstep to footstep as they disappear under the snow.
On our team WhatsApp chat we shared photos and messages of extreme joy at these glorious conditions.
Of course we do not know how long it is going to stay quite sumptuous out there.
And so we did what we always do and made the most of having some great Adventures today.
