Happy Easter

And so that time of year has come around once again.

We are indeed open for walks Monday to Wednesday next week, but as the vast majority of you are away I thought I would do my Easter blog today.

As the yearly Easter exodus from Oslo happens and the population head for their cabins it is important that we remember the true meaning of Easter.

Our fast paced Society and modern life means that we all too quickly forget the mighty Battle between Jesus and the Chocolate Easter Bunny which occurred many moons ago.

Jesus of course had God on his side. But even big JC was no match for a bunny who according to my kids’ kindergarten has the superpower of pooing out candy.

And this was how chocolate and candy superseded religion.

And so as our children eat enough sugar to induce a diabetic coma we celebrate Easter with a multitude of calories and e-numbers.

Whilst you find yourself at the gorgeous surroundings of your cabins, in the most wonderful Norwegian nature, why not reach for the dog lead and head out on some epic Adventures to burn some of those calories away.
