The Unborn Pup ❤️🐾

Yesterday morning (Sunday) I was out with Minttu early in the woods before most of Oslo woke up.

Armed with my thermos cup with a double coffee we headed out for a meander.

These types of walks have no particular destination and I decide impulsively where we will head as the walk develops.

After about 30 minutes I came upon a lovely ridge line where I met a delightful man out walking his poodle. He was in running gear and informed me he was doing a jog-walk combo.

He asked if the dogs could say hello to each other and I said it was no problem.

As the dogs ran and played, we chatted.

I asked him how old his female poodle was and he informed me that she was five.

I asked if by chance he had bought her locally. He answered yes and told me the name of the breeder. Immediately I smiled and told him that I knew both the breeder and also his dog’s mother, Emma.

I went on to explain what I worked with, and that even more amazingly, his dog had actually joined on one of my dog walks whilst she was inside her mother waiting to be born.

To add some extra spice to the story I have actually walked two of the other puppies from the same litter after they were born, who had joined me for the first time whilst their mother was pregnant.

We laughed and continued to chat for five minutes more, before continuing our respective adventures.

The Norwegian dog world is much smaller than you ever would have thought.

Happy Monday!
