As you will be able to see when you scan down the page we don’t have too many doggies left here in Oslo.
And yet we live for dog adventures and therefore why would we close this week just because there are not as many dogs around.
If anything having fewer dogs on our walks allows us to head to some fantastic spots.
Yesterday afternoon I received an SMS from one of my old Walkers, Morten, to who actually lives very close by. He was mentioning how we had not caught up for a while and how he would love to join for a walk this morning.
My eyes lit up and I suggested that I pick him up just after 8am so that we would have time for a great walk.
And so this morning Morten and I headed for Barlindåsen. If you have not been there, I thoroughly recommend checking it out. It is hard to find a better view over Maridalen.
We walked and talked, we laughed and debated, we exchanged stories of our lives and adventures of late.
Yet at the same time we stopped to appreciate magnificent views, trees and rock formations as we headed to the viewpoint.
The dogs know both Morten and I exceptionally well. Morten used to walk Harpo, and when I head to the UK I trust Morten to look after my own pup, Minttu. The dogs were loving some double Walker adventure.
Morten has his own adventure and dog projects which he is developing now. If anyone is looking for a first-class dog trainer then let me know and I will pass on his details.
But as I dropped him home post adventure, he turned to me and asked if he could join again soon as he has really missed this.
Of course you can mate
