We all hope that you and your doggies have had a wonderful Easter break.
Whether you took the entire Easter week off or just made the most of a five-day weekend, it was a lovely chance to break up the day to day routine, and press the reset button.
Aside from not picking up your pups and taking them on my adventures, my Eadter days were actually quite similar to work. I was still out enjoying long walks in nature, whether with my own dog or my kids.
With a potential Trail Marathon coming up in under 2 months, and not having trained for the last 6 weeks due to a lung infection, I decided it was time to get out for a few runs. As on so many previous occasions my excitement got the best of me and I ended up running for 27 kilometres on Saturday.
I am very happy to report that apart from being a little tired for the hours after my run, I actually was not sore nor stiff.
Unlike many of my friends I was actually very excited to get back to work and adventuring again today. The grey clouds and moody weather did nothing to dampen my spirits and it was splendid to explore the damp woods with some fantastic gangs of dogs.
And so, not only are your dogs back and bouncing, but so are your Walkers.
