In the late 1990s British band Feeder sang the lyrics “I’m going out for a while so that I can get high with my friends”.
Fast forward a good few decades and I was thinking similar with regards to today, my adventures and doggy friends.
No, no… the high to which I refer is not drug-induced but more literally high vertically.
On my morning reconnaissance walk I noticed something rather spectacular. Walking to the top of the hill where there is a Ski jump behind where I live, I noticed that Oslo was completely shrouded in cloud, whereas I was stood surrounded by crisp blue sky.
Clearly I’ve been doing this job long enough to realize that the city fog and cloud would burn off in a couple of hours.
And yet why wait when you have the knowledge that if you make your adventure high up enough then you will be bathed in sunlight as you explore?
And so we got high, we got baked, we smiled and laughed.

And the only herb in sight was a good old mug of Tea!
