In 1979, and even before I was born, the rock group Queen released the song “Don’t Stop Me Now”.
Today, and as we approach the Christmas holidays, I suddenly started singing it to myself.
With only 2 walking days now left, I feel like I don’t quite want to stop just now. It doesn’t feel particularly like Christmas with the amount of greenery, rain, grey weather and leaves. The irony being that is exactly a London Winter and Christmas, and that I should be used to it from my entire childhood.
But momentarily back to Freddie Mercury blasting out those lyrics:
“Don’t Stop Me Now, I’m having such a good time, I’m having a ball, don’t stop me now, if you want (your dog) to have a good time just give me a call”
Couldn’t sum up my feelings of 2025 dog adventures better.
