Two days ago I wrote about the Last Push, that final assault on the summit which is Christmas.
As we sprint towards the Finish Line it was lovely to have an energizing Pit Stop early this morning.
I was up quite early, just after 5am. Looking out the window I could see a foggy street, much like it has been for the last 6 weeks.
Nothing too remarkable with that, and so I had a few coffees.
However heading into the woods at 7am with Minttu, I looked up above to see not only a clear sky but most of the major constellations twinkling and smiling down on us.
With the city lights below and the starry sky above I felt like I was in the perfect spot to witness this show.
Energised and ready to adventure, I jumped in the truck.
The irony being that the woods held onto their mist and fog most of the day, interspersed with gorgeous bursts of sunshine.
Nature was out in full force today to remind us of her beauty.
