With a few Tuesday morning cancellations due to cabin trips and dog groomers, I found myself with a decision yesterday.
Should I contact the owner of the only dog left in my morning Adventure and ask if I could take him with the others during the middle of the day instead… Or did this give me the opportunity to grab my cross-country skis and head out on a Dog Langrenn Adventure with him and my own dog?
Given the choice of a morning of admin or a Ski with some fun dogs, unsurprisingly I chose the latter.
Economically and from an efficiency point of view this makes no sense, but nor does Adventure if that is how you measure it.
Adventure is the only way to measure Adventure.
Dog cancellations could have been viewed as a negative, yet it gave me the opportunity to seize a different kind of Adventure today. And so I can only be grateful.
