With the early end to Winter, and the woods rapidly turning warmer and greener, now is definitely the time to sort out tick medication for your dog, if you haven’t already.
Whether collar, pill or drops you can decide, but I would highly recommend sorting it out in the coming weeks so as to avoid your dog being in discomfort and getting sick.
I will add that I have not seen any ticks yet this year, but we walk in woodlands where there are deer and other animals, and they will surely arrive soon.
If you ring up your vet to get a prescription you will likely be able to either pick it up before Easter or right after Easter. Some vet clinics stock up early, others will send you to a nearby pharmacy.
