Summer'd Up - Who Let The Dogs Out? Oslo Hundelufting

Happy Monday and welcome back to the sunshine!

We are set to have some absolutely fabulous weather this week in Oslo. With temperatures pushing over 20C up in Oslomarka tomorrow, thos last week has been a slightly mad dash to change all of the work vans onto Summer tyres.

You might think that we have left it a little late, though years and years of experience means that I always prefer to leave them on for a few extra weeks especially when the nighttime temperatures are still hovering near zero higher up in the woods.

You just never know when a sudden freak Springtime snowfall will happen.

Now in late April, even if it were to happen, the snow would most likely melt away within a couple of hours and therefore not disrupt our Dog Adventures too much.

Early doors this morning was the opportunity to switch the last work truck onto the Summers. And so I found myself drinking my morning coffee, sat at a busy intersection in my van, waiting for the mechanics to finish their coffee & catch up post weekend.

With the early morning sunshine beaming down on the garage and surrounding parking area, it was quite a jovial get-together. I was early enough to be amongst the first in line and therefore still managed to get to my first Dog Adventure at the time I would normally start.

I must admit that after a long Winter it is lovely to drive around without the constant clicking noise of the spiked tyres on tarmac. A slightly less noisy commute to and from the woods.
