Hello, happy Friday and happy Norwegian National Day weekend!
This year National Day falls on a Sunday and it will be a wonderful celebration of what Norway means to all and each of us.
Norway represents a whole variety of things to me personally but to name jusst a few (in no particular order); nature mountains snow, kids, family, dogs, home and friends.
Regardless of what day of the week it falls, I always ensure to celebrate a good mix of these things on the 17th May.
Snow and mountains might be a little difficult this year but they will be replaced with rainy showers and rolling hills.
As always I will head out into Oslomarka with my dog for several hours and immerse myself in its fantastic scenery.
Then there will be the inevitable hot dogs and ice cream whilst waving a flag with my kids.
I hope that you will all find time to celebrate what Norway means to you.
