Hello and happy Tuesday.
We hope that you have all had a wonderful long weekend with your dogs and that you enjoyed some of the glorious sunshine.
A splendid weekend was had and some neighbours and I even managed to organise for 15-20 kids to have a massive water fight in the sunshine.
Water pistols, waterbombs… We were fully armed and ready to get soaked. Whilst it was mainly about the kids and getting them outside and engaged in something other than screens…. a few adults, including myself, joined in of course.
As my little daughter was the youngest potential participant, she was a little wary to join in immediately. Daddy had other ideas and picked her up and ran into the middle of the battle.
Using her as a human shield to protect myself from getting soaked worked perfectly. It would seem that even slightly older children know that it is not okay to drench a three-year-old girl who is in her dad’s arms.
This did not stop me from producing a water pistol and throwing about 10 water bombs at the hesitant children, before encouraging my daughter to finally throw her own water bomb.
Quick tip is not to turn your back on those same hesitant children, as once my shield had disappeared I was soaked, and deservedly so.
Sunshine Aquatic Wars over and it was back on track and trail today with your pups. With the sun continuing to shine, and the temperatures steadily climbing, they were loving life. And so were we!
Yesterday was the last public holiday before Christmas. We are now back on full weeks until our Summer holidays.
With regards to our Summer holidays I will be releasing a blog in the coming days with the dates that we are closed and have no Dog Adventures. Customers will also receive a newsletter with these dates later in the week or early next week.
The reason for the slight delay in our Summer Holiday dates is the we are trying to see if we may have cover for longer, to be able to offer walks further into July than usual.
