Making the most of it

Generally I’m not someone who plans too far into the future. Unpredictability means that even the best laid plans often never come to fruition.

However I will say that when the forecast for the following day is quite as wet as it appears to be, it somehow allows you the pleasure of enjoying the sunshine and the dryness just that little bit extra.

Just the knowledge that tomorrow most likely will mean rainwear and being damp for the majority of the day allows you to roll up your sleeves literally and metaphorically and just soak up the sunshine and the ambiance even more.

If the rains tomorrow never come then I will of purely benefitted from enjoying the glorious weather today. If the rain clouds do appear then I will not only have the lovely memory of today but I also quite enjoy a good Wet Adventure in the woods.

When it comes to the weather… what will be, will be (que sera, sera). For me one of my main loves of  living in Norway is that we get such varied weather and 4 distinct seasons.

I like to think of rain as snow which has not yet fulfilled it’s potential.
