Time to find your gloves and hat

It is super beautiful out in Oslomarka. Those long awaited Autumn colours have finally arrived.

But with the colours has arrived the chilly weather. It was only +1C outside when I woke up today.

I braved the kindergarten journey with a baseball cap and without gloves. Clearly this was noticed as another father in one of the classes even joked about it to me, ironically calling me “a viking”.

But by the time I returned home the Viking had admitted his mistake and found my beanie hat, some thin gloves and an extra layer to help keep me warmer.

It looks like these cooler conditions will last at least into the weekend and maybe a little longer.

I absolutely adore the fresh conditions and find that it helps both wake me up and give me lots of energy early in the day.

I have not yet donned my thermals and will leave it until Morning frost arrives. I don’t think that this event is too far away.
