It had to happen

We almost made it dry to the weekend! Almost!

You might remember that on Monday I wrote about the forthcoming Wet Walking Week. Well I’m very happy to report that by writing about it, I jinxed it in the most fantastic way.

The Weather Gods, clearly having read my blog (I imagine they follow it everyday), decided to switch it up.

So instead of it raining heavily throughout the days from Tuesday to Friday, the wettest conditions seemingly only arrived as we slept. Raining each and every night and dry on the adventures.

We ended up not only staying dry but even getting some sunshine to illuminate the Woods and make them sparkle.

And yet Friday afternoon was one throw of the dice too far….. The heavens opened, jackets on and we (and your dogs) danced in the rain as we explored and played.

It was gorgeous and the dogs seemed oblivious to the rain as we scrambled, slid, hopped and clambered through the most gorgeous forests.

Wet and soaked, the dogs enjoyed a good towelling and we enjoyed getting home, putting on fresh socks and warm dry clothes.
