Vinterferie variety

The school Winter holidays are in a full flow, and the city and it’s surrounding woodlands are beautifully quiet.

There is almost no rush hour traffic, there is plenty of available parking and I’ve yet to actually meet another person whilst on an Adventure so far this week.

Aside from the cross-country ski tracks, the whole of the Oslo area is pleasantly deserted.

Those lucky doggies who have remained in Oslo during Vinterferie are getting to roam, explore and play with maximum freedom.

This morning I was asked by a lovely customer whether I had considered wanting to take a day or two off this week. I smiled and replied that “were I to take a day or two off I would just end up exploring in the woods alone with my dog…. And therefore it seemed logical to just take more dogs and go have a proper Adventure together”.

When your work is essentially what you choose to do with your free time it does make holidays quite redundant
