Today the blog is actually not about any specific problem or problems, yet it is about the joy of solving issues on your own.
When you run a small business with about 80 different dogs and their unique personalities, combined with about 75 different customers and their requirements, you end up solving quite a few issues everyday.
Sometimes the issue you are thinking about might be a couple of weeks away, sometimes it needs to be resolved almost immediately.
There is a certain indescribable joy about sitting with a problem as your subconscious mind works through it….. and delivers the answer back to you.
Sometimes action is required and you know what to suggest or do, sometimes you need to coordinate and communicate with a few other parties.
After nearly 13 years of running the business I actually quite enjoy when a problem crops up which I have not experienced before. It gets my brain working overtime.
As long as the issue is not serious and super urgent, I resist the urge to turn to the internet or artificial intelligence.
I am certainly not anti technology, but I believe that both of these sources stifle and restrict creativity of thought.
I am both curious and a little worried as to how these technologies will evolve and affect creativity and thinking amongst future generations, and especially my children.
Happy Problem Solving!
