The End is Near

Fear not! For this is not a conspiracy theory or a doomsday post proclaiming the End of the World.

Neither is it referring to the business ceasing to exist. We are having far too much fun for that to happen.

Nor is it referring to the working or walking week. Yes, yes the weekend does arrive tomorrow afternoon…. but when work is Dog Adventures and consists of exactly what you would be doing in your free time, then this doesn’t really affect us.

“Good god man! Will you cut to the chase and tell us what today’s blog is about?” I hear no one ask..

Well it does look like the extreme cold snap is about to end.

Basically since Christmas Eve it has been rather chilly, even for a Winter up in Scandinavia.

Yes, we are quite used to getting a week or two of really quite cold weather, but for it to last seven or eight weeks, with only the odd milder day here and there, is actually quite exceptional.

Apparently from tomorrow the temperatures will jump by around 10 to 15 degrees warmer.

As they rise it looks like we will be getting a little bit of snow tomorrow.

But careful what you wish for as the temperature change is so extreme that we are forecast some rain during the weekend and next week.

And so today with my extra thick dog jumper on and my sunglasses firmly planted on my face, I enjoyed the crisp, fresh, freezing temperatures whilst exploring under the blue skies.
