Seal of Approval

What exactly is the Gold Standard for Dog Adventuring?

It is quite hard to find out, given that every adventure is different, and there is a different focus for each and every dog.

Some need to be tired out others need to socialize and some are just absolutely in it for the fun and games.

With such varying points of reference it is normal that we take an overview on harmony, exploring and pure good fun for one and all.

We like to find hidden spots where not as many people Adventure, so as to be able to give the dogs as much freedom as possible.

With this in mind we often have to break trail and re-create the paths after each and every significant snowfall.

This morning I decided to return to a splendid spot which I had “walked in” yesterday.

I could see that a few people had been in the area near where the cars can park…. but actually no one had ventured much further in, like we did yesterday.

Well that is a bit of a little “lie” as there were some other markings in the snow.

It would seem that the King of the Woods had actually appreciated my trail. Clearly taking a break from the heavy snow, I could see that a moose had actually followed my footsteps and the path we made yesterday. He or she had travelled a few hundred metres on our Trail.

When the King (or Queen) of the Woods follows in your footsteps you know that you have the ultimate Seal of Approval 👑
