It’s Monday morning and the weekend is behind you. Your kids are taking an age to get ready to get out the door to go to kindergarten. You’re watching the minutes roll by on your watch with little to no progress.
You want to get going with the week and get off to a good start. Get ahead of the game, get on top of things before it mounts up…..
Well, this following advice might therefore sound rather strange.
Just slow down and get some Karma points. Hold the door for someone, chat to someone you see briefly, let a few cars go before you at a junction and just remember that life doesn’t have to be the frenetic rush of one thing to another.
Starting off your day with some kind acts just reframes the urgency of an email or task
From my perspective, the honest truth is I might sit at several traffic lights for a minute each time….. Or I might sail through them all…. So why try and control the pace of the uncontrollable?
You win some and you lose some. It evens itself out with the ying and yang of Life
If there aren’t enough hours in the day to do everything on your list….. Don’t make such long lists and prioritize the important stuff over the things which add little to no value.
