Whilst it is not the end of the doggy school year, school aged children around Oslo are celebrating the start of Summer Holidays this afternoon.
Despite my middle-aged years I still remember that feeling of excitement, planning a summer filled with Adventures.
For some of our dogs they also start their Summer Holidays today as their owners are teachers. Having grown up with two teachers for parents I just want to say to those owners “congratulations on surviving yet another year”!
In August my eldest son, Johan, will start school, which he is eagerly awaiting. Watching his kindergarten leaving ceremony about 10 days ago was an emotional and proud moment.
How time flies. Blink and you will miss it.
It is a timely and poignant reminder to very much live in the Present. Summer Holidays allow us to get away from distractions, unnecessary notifications and interruptions.
For those doggies lucky enough to not yet be on Summer Holidays we will be Adventuring to the maximum right up to and including Wednesday 8th July
Happy Weekend
