Maestro

We start the week with some unbelievably sad news that one of our extended Who Let The Dogs Out Family has passed away.

Maestro actually only ever joined on one walk, a few years ago, with his younger brother from another mother Nansen.

Maestro had been adopted in his later years by two of our fantastic customers, Victoria and Aleksander, who showered him with love and affection which he thoroughly deserved.

Maestro was ever present both at pick up and drop off of Nansen 4 days a week. He would normally sleep on the doormat, guarding the house from anyone coming in or out.

With his fading eyesight and being almost deaf, this was his way of keeping control and not missing out on treats from visitors.

And treats he would always get from us. He would awake from slumber and immediately be ready to receive a biscuit or two.

Despite his advancing years, and correlated health problems, he was always happy to see us. His eyes lit up as he would watch and wait.

He will be missed by all he met, a fantastic dog and character.

Our deepest condolences go out to his family at this sad time.

Sleep well Maestro and thanks for making me smile so many times 🐾❤️
